Who we are

Ahlo is run by Momin U Haq, doing business as Ahlo, in Illinois, USA. Contact: hello@tryahlo.com.

For website visitors

• The assistant is an AI. It answers from the business's own facts but can still make mistakes. Check important details (prices, times, availability) with the business.
• It does not give medical, legal or financial advice, and it is not for emergencies. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
• Bookings made through the assistant are with the business, under the business's own policies.
• Please don't misuse it: no spam, abuse, attempts to break it or to get around its limits.

For businesses

• What we provide: a voice and chat assistant for your website, set up and maintained by us, plus the features in your plan (such as messages, bookings and WhatsApp confirmations).
• Your facts: you give us accurate information and approve it before going live. You're responsible for your prices, policies and services; tell us when they change and we'll update the assistant.
• Plans and minutes: each plan includes a number of chat minutes per month. If they run out, the assistant shows your contact details instead of talking until the next month or a top-up. Fees, setup costs and any local-currency pricing are agreed in writing before we start.
• Your customers' data: you own it. We process it for you as described in our Privacy Policy and keep it only as long as stated there. You're responsible for telling your customers how you use their information, and for getting consent where your law requires it, including for WhatsApp messages.
• Calendars and WhatsApp: if you share a Google Calendar with Ahlo, we only add and check bookings in that calendar; you can remove access at any time. WhatsApp messaging follows Meta's rules and fees.
• Our work: the assistant, its code and its instructions remain ours. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer them.
• Cancelling: either side can stop at the end of a billing month with notice by email. We remove the assistant and delete your data on request.

Availability

We work to keep Ahlo running, but it depends on outside services (Google, Cloudflare, Meta) and may sometimes be unavailable or change.

Limits of liability

Ahlo is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability to a business is limited to the fees it paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA.

Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date above. Businesses will get notice by email of important changes.
